Functional cookies

We use, among others, the following functional cookies: 

• Cookie Confirm (Functional): Stores your preferences and a unique ID via the cookies CC_p_consent_id, CC_p_settings, and CC_p_accepted_cookies. This way, the website remembers whether you have given consent and which scripts may be loaded. 
• Session Cookies (Necessary): For a secure connection and basic functions of the website, such as logging in. 
• Purpose: The purpose of these cookies is to enable communication via the website and to provide the service requested by you. 
• Legal Basis: The placement and reading of strictly necessary cookies is permitted under Article 11.7a paragraph 3 of the Telecommunications Act. Insofar as personal data are processed in the process, the legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6 paragraph 1 sub f GDPR), namely ensuring the proper functioning and security of the website. 
• Retention Period: We limit the retention periods of cookies to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are used. Strictly necessary cookies are typically retained for the duration of the session or for a limited period of a maximum of 12 months, depending on the specific cookie and functionality. 

Sharing with third parties 

We use a cookie banner from Cookie Confirm. This party processes data about your cookie preferences (such as your consent status) on our behalf and acts as a processor (Article 28 GDPR). We have entered into a data processing agreement with this party. The data hosting of this party takes place within the EU. 

For hosting and managing our website, we use external service providers, including our webshop manager and hosting party. These parties act as processors within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR and are established within the European Economic Area (EEA). Data processing agreements have been concluded with these parties. 

Analytical cookies 

We use analytical cookies to gain insight into the general use of our website and to improve the user experience. These cookies collect information in a privacy-friendly manner about how visitors navigate through the website, which pages are viewed most frequently, and how the website performs. The collected data are anonymized and are used exclusively to technically optimize our website and better align it with the needs of our visitors in general. 

Analytical cookies (Google Analytics 4) 

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous statistics about the use of our website. This allows us to improve the operation and content of the website. The cookies (such as _ga, FPID, FPLC, and FPGSID) collect data about: 

• Which pages you visit and how long you stay there. 
• Which source referred you to our website.
• The type of device and browser you use. 
• Purpose: These data are used for internal analyses to optimize the operation of our website and do not contain directly identifiable personal data. 
• Retention Period: User-level and event-level data are retained for 14 months. If a user revisits our website during this period, this term is extended. Data exceeding the retention period are automatically deleted on a monthly basis. 
• Legal Basis: The placement and reading of these cookies is permitted under Article 11.7a paragraph 3 of the Telecommunications Act, because these cookies have little or no impact on your privacy. For the processing of the (anonymized) data, the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6 paragraph 1 sub f GDPR), namely being able to continuously analyze and optimize our website. 

Sharing with third parties 

For analyzing the use of our website, we use the processor Google (Google Analytics). The data collected via these cookies may be transferred to servers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such as the United States. In that case, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are put in place, for example by entering into standard contractual clauses as approved by the European Commission (Article 46 GDPR). 

We use marketing and tracking cookies to track visitor behavior on and outside our website and to better tailor advertisements and content to your interests. These cookies collect information about your browsing behavior, such as pages visited, click behavior, origin of your visit, and interactions with advertisements. 

In addition, these cookies can be used to recognize visitors across multiple websites and sessions, so that personalized advertisements and offers can be displayed and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns can be measured and optimized. These cookies are only placed after you have given consent for this (Art. 6 paragraph 1 sub a GDPR). 

We use, among others, the following marketing and tracking cookies: 

• Meta (Facebook & Instagram): Cookies such as _fbp, LastExternalReferrer, and TopicsLastReferenceTime register how you reach our website and make it possible to display relevant advertisements on Meta platforms. 
• Google (Ads & DoubleClick): Via cookies such as _gcl_au, FPAU, and IDE, we measure the performance of our advertisements and tailor offers to your interests. 
• Microsoft (Bing Ads): Cookies such as MUID, _uetsid, and _uetvid help us recognize visitors across multiple sessions to make advertisements more relevant and measure their effectiveness. 
• Profit Metrics: Uses the cookie pmVisitSource to record which marketing source or campaign was responsible for your visit. 
• Purpose: These cookies are used to track visitor behavior, display personalized advertisements and offers, and measure and optimize the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. 
• Retention Period: We limit the retention periods of cookies to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are used. Marketing Cookies are retained for a period varying from 3 months to a maximum of 24 months, depending on the specific cookie and the purpose of the processing. 
• Legal Basis: The processing of personal data via these cookies is based on your consent. 

Sharing with third parties 

For marketing purposes, we use external service providers, such as Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook), Google LLC (Google Ads and Google Marketing Platform), Microsoft Corporation (Bing Ads), and ProfitMetrics ApS. These parties process personal data collected via cookies, for example to analyze user behavior and personalize advertisements and content. 

In doing so, unique identifiers are used, among other things, to recognize visitors across multiple sessions and websites and analyze their behavior, such as clicking behavior. Based on this, personalized advertisements and offers can be displayed, and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns can be measured. Depending on the specific service, these parties act as processors within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR or as (joint) data controllers. We have concluded data processing agreements with parties acting as processors. 

The data collected via these marketing and tracking cookies may be transferred to servers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), particularly to the United States. In that case, the transfer takes place exclusively in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR (Articles 44 et seq. GDPR). If applicable, we use the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Article 45 GDPR) or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Article 46 GDPR) to ensure an appropriate level of protection. These cookies are only placed after you have given consent for this (Article 6 paragraph 1 sub a GDPR Article 11.7a of the Telecommunications Act).
